Though my heart was crying
I never broke a sweat
Though inside I was dying
I couldn't let you know
But I couldn't let you go
My heart was torn
You still tried to take my thorns

You took me as I am
You loved me as I was
But in the end I ran
Should have been to us
Despite all my walls
Somehow you still saw me
I wanna win you back
But I'm scared to say 'I'm sorry'

You never hurt me
Your love was healing
I couldn't see it then
Can I get another chance
