Sigh - Poem by Gerard El Cue
I step into our bedroom,
and want to see you sleeping there -
I sit outside in our backyard,
and want to watch you feed your birds -
I stare at stuff inside our fridge,
and want to ask what you would like.
I say a word that you would hate,
and want to hear you rag at me -
I think of something you'd find funny,
and want to hear you laugh out loud -
I take a walk down to the park,
and want to hold your hand just. once. more.
I feel how much you mean to me,
and wish that I could show you....
