Sight Poem by Raymond Farrell

Sight

There are no colors in reality
Just different wavelengths of light
An intricate matter
Of true complexity
With the eye and brain
Working together in unity
Allows human beings
To perceive with clarity
The wonderful colorful delight
Commonly known a sight.

Every step in the process
Towards eventually seeing
Must be present
Not one step can be eliminated
Or human sight would be impossible
None of this evolved step by step
(that antiquated notion has been disproved)
On that noted scientists agree
But how these steps arrived together
Is a source of disagreement.

This is usually what creationists will cite as proof of God. That is a much larger leap than any of the scientific hypotheses.

Science only deal in secondary effects not primordial cause so appealing to it to prove or disprove the existance of God is a waste of time.
