She runs the rhymes; runs them smooth
From the crest of her fingertips
She lets them slip; slip without a thought
Onto a page she’ll eventually rip
Rip into ruins; for she knows love is foolish
And she’s a fool to have fallen so hard
She must get back up; tend to her bruises and lumps and
Ignore her box full of shards
For she believes that she needs them that this is the way
To punish herself and put emptiness at bay
She doesn’t know any better than to self-prescribe
An antidote that brings her such shame inside
It’s a soft-spoken anger that she carries around
Day in and day out it’s weighing her down
So when the loneliness is rough; when she’s had enough
She tries to scream out loud
But nothing comes out; not a sound, not a shout
For silence is her curse
Rip into ruins; for she knows love is foolish And she’s a fool to have fallen so hard...................... silence knows its reeks as when speechless by the glimpse, . wonderful write, yet ingenious,10++, thanks for sharing
