Teacher
Just milk it; milk it ‘till it’s gone
Until the magic and wonder flee
Until the thrill of words withdraws and frays
And there’s nothing left for me
Just take it; pull it out of my gut
You’re just a fool in a fool’s world
Express only to impress when inside you’re perplexed
Because nothing means a thing
Yet you think you’re so smart
For perfecting the art
of seeing what doesn't exist
