Silence Poem by scarlette Phoenix

Silence

Rating: 4.0

I pour my heart out to you
Only to be met with silence
You won't tell me what's on your mind
And I end up feeling dense

You tell me you love me
You tell me that I know it
You never show emotion
You don't even throw a fit

Your silence hurts
It cuts like a knife
When I ask why
I only cause more strife

So now I've decided
I've got to move on
If all your giving is silence
Then I'm better off gone

Here's wishing you happiness
Here's wishing you well
I hope you get what you deserve
I hope it's hell

You're a little vindictive, aren't you? I suppose the party involved deserves it. Oh the rights and wrongs of life's first loves. You have expressed your feelings in a very adequate poetic manner, as usual
