Silence Poem by H Seeking

Silence

Rating: 2.5

Silence is deafening
It eats away the bloom
Brings only endless gloom
A sense of foreboding
And subtle doom

It makes the room cold
You are suddenly less bold
You need to be told
Desist you will soon be old

You can hear
a thousand pine needles drop
As you shed a tear
When nothing is as it should appear

You pray, you think,
You don't miss a blink
For a sign, a chink
in that armour link

Until at last the ice would thaw
And life renews as you once saw
For a thousand years
A life sans tears
