Silence Of Woods Poem by Narender Singh Bansal

Silence Of Woods

Rating: 5.0

The pine trees
silently
watched them
As they treaded
silently
on the path
followed by few

They collected
wood on the way

The stream
whispered with rocks
about the
new visitor
whose bed
was being laid
along the stream
in the
silence of woods
During the daytime

They lit
the fire
after putting
him to rest
on the bed

The fire
chattered
with the stream
and the rocks

As the bed
the person
on the bed
converted
to ashes
in the
silence of woods.

Watching of pine tree was thoughtful in silence to judge on life and death. During the day time silence of words are beautifully heard. This is an amazing poem brilliantly penned that carries deep philosophy...10
