Silent At Present Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Silent At Present

Silent at present

Words fall
Respond no call
Like striking at the wall
But that is not all

When person is cordoned
And condemned
He loses the appetite
And think to be polite

He knows the weakness
But can't show the remorse on face
He wants to heed all the advice
But can't hold the promise

It is compulsion
And find it difficult for inclusion
He thinks about lose rope around his neck
His thoughts are now packed

What shall be world without me?
He has dejection and floats free
He finds that world has ganged up against
"He must remain silent at present"
