Silent Tears

Herbert was a reformed cheater.
But his wife could not forget the pain that he had caused her.
She started calling him Cheating Dog.
She did this in front of their friends and family.
She may as well have had a choke collar and leash on him.
At night no one heard his silent tears.

Lamar, I really like this short and simple poem about Herbert, the consummate -whipped man. I truly hope you are not writing about yourself! Give us more.
