Wild Things - Poem by Lamar Cole

If wolves could sing.
They would do their thing.
They would sing about chasing deer.
And never having any fear.
They would sing about loving things that are wild.
And devouring their food with wolf smiles.

    wild can think of life also;
    but wildly

    thief can think of life also;
    but in stealing way

    tyrant can think of rule also;
    but in blood thirsty mind

    cheater can think of life also;
    but in deceiving scheme

    revolutionist can think of freedom also;
    but with a sanguinary fighting

    I see a very profound meaning in it. Wolves, by the sound of the word, brings in a fearful feeling. Yet, they too have their own qualities which are to be valued. Very much thought provoking. Thanks for sharing. You very well deserve the positioning. Congrats. x (Report)Reply

    Lamar, Hearty congratulations!
    Wolves are supposed to be cunning and not an animal so loving like the other pets.
    But after reading your cute little poem, i have developed a soft corner for the wolves who can smile.
    Humorous poem....10

    A 10 Full Score for this Beautiful and Brave Song. Amazing theme. in the Netherlands, there have been born the FIRST wolves babies recently. It was on the TV news. Before these babies had been born, the wolf is almost no more. Now the government is happy to know this. Truly Fantastic poem, Lamar. ENJOY your day. Regards, SFC (Report)Reply
