Silently Poem by Payyton Egerstaffer

Silently

Silently I walked the path of destruction. I was surrounded by woes, sorrow, anger, devastation, and much more. Some not my own, I wasn’t alone; the path seemed to widen in width with each person who choose this pebbled way. Some knew what they were doing, some didn’t, some were lucky enough to find a more enchanting path, some weren’t so lucky. The path ended at some point and with it your life. Each day I’m on this path I wish for a small soft light to bath me with the warmth I’d once heard of.
