Silently I Miss You Poem by Nelson G. Remache

Silently I Miss You

Like the moon in a dark night,
As though I had hopes and yet none.
Here I sit, waiting for a chime
While I sing my crime.

I wonder where you have traveled-
Though what I feel might not get to you.
I think of you and wonder,
While I look yonder.
As the sun shines pleasantly
I marvel, though in voices I wonder
“Where are you, where have you gone? ”
I have to wonder.
While I think of you like roses
And their sweet scent at my noses
Yet looking in your eyes I wonder…
How sweet, how beautiful they both falter.
Though years have passed in days-

I miss you…
And silently I kiss you
While you sweetly dream and smile-
And I sat next to you, sadden by your beauty
Admiring the tenderness of your sweet face-
And yet I still look for you.

I miss you-
While I kiss you-
Yet silently I miss you…
