Silicon Land Poem by Vijay Sai R

Silicon Land

Burnt sand
Such as its color
Lighter and darker
Here and there
Beautiful to see
A charm to eyes
More than surprising too
Sand dunes
Over all places
Till human vicinity
Ever threatening
To getting lost
And out of direction
If wandered without
Any knowledge
Of the confusing maze-
Casuarina trees everywhere
Bushy cacti
Thorny growth all around
Palm trees
Standing majestic
Wherever you see
All throughout the circumference
Of the mystery village
So called as THERIKAADU-
Existence ever a question
How such sand patterns
In alternate crests and troughs?
A point to keep in mind-
"Never go alone
You will lose your way"
That's what
Local people say!
So true too-
And so fittingly
According to this poet-
To be crowned as
The silicon land!
