Simple Joys Poem by susette varga

Simple Joys

Rating: 5.0

I truly enjoy
The simple joys
I find in
My daily life

My dogs delight
In his eyes
As he tries
To lick my face

My daughter smile
On her face
As i make
Her morning cuppie

The school run giggle
As we chat
And listen
To some music

The hug and kiss
That we share
Before we go
Our seperate ways

The morning texts
From my lover
And friends
Just to say hello

A surprise visit
From mum and dad
On their way
To tesco

I need no riches
Nor fancy car
Diamonds do not
Tempt me

All i desire
Are these simple joys
They genuinely
Make me happy

My life is rich
Beyond belief
such joys
Are bestowed
upon me

The simple pleasantries in life brings a richness that untangles a web of complexities! I love your humble poem! Great work!
