Simplicity Of Knowing Poem by Edwina Reizer

Simplicity Of Knowing

Rating: 3.0

Oh to catch a moonbeam
right within your hand
and hold it close
so you'll understand
that who you are
is not so far
from everything that you see.
You're part of every flower
and of every tree.

Oh to catch a firefly
right within your hand
and hold it gently
will help you understand
that the flickering light
shining so bright
in the darkness of the night
is part of the mystery
of everything that you see.

Oh to catch a snowflake
right within your hand
and see it up close
will let you understand
that its design
that it made so fine
has a shape all its own,
just like your hand
that caught it.
