Sin Poem by Benedict Lestat

Sin

Do, or don´t - a simple thing.
It´s easy lad - do something ´swing´.

Do, all you ever wanted to,
I´ll be with you - your special friend.
I´ll stand by you - until the end.
Don´t let the others bother you.

I´ve been with you since you were born,
I´ll be with you when your friends mourn.

Go build your dam, see Helena,
The world is your´s, my friend, you see?
It´s waiting for a man like thee,
The whole encyclopeadia.

I only need one thing, your word,
Don´t frown at me as if absurd,
My little plead would seem to you,
Without me, all you are is blue.

So let me be with you - my friend.
Let me stand by you, ´till the end.
When your bones crack, your pain a thorn,
Your friends come back to you - and mourn.
