The allurement of sin is powerful
Its desire is stronger than reason
Its affiance stupefies conscience
Arouses the yearning of the heart
Prods desires, nudges the longings
Promises pleasure, ignites passion
Sin pines and flares benign craving
So we yield to her without restraint
And pitch our tent by the precipice
And dare to dance atop a lofty rock
As many have fallen to their deaths
Yet we think we can brave the bait
Sin embraces the heart like a friend
And blinds the eyes of commonsense
And has led many stronger and wiser
Unrestrained, to the deathtrap of hell
Sin excites the heart, lulls every guilt
And wholly enchanted and enthralled
We consent without much Wheedling
He presents us proudly, willing slaves
