Since I'Ve Met You, I'Ve Been In Love Poem by Paul Day

Since I'Ve Met You, I'Ve Been In Love

Since I’ve met you, I’ve been in love.
Your soft face, piercing eyes, beautiful hair…
Everything about you is so perfect.
Your voice, your sound, your laugh so fair…

I long for you when you are away.
For your humor, your understanding, your reliability…
No other could capture me so.
You are the greatest part of my reality.

And I must point out your subtle intellect.
Our conversations are so supreme.
I do not have to change myself in front of you.
And we are more alike than it would seem.

From the mistakes I made, we grew.
That feeling you taught me is – out of all – above.
And from the chances you have given me, one truth always remained.
Since I met you, I’ve been in love.
