Hardly Known And Quickly Forgotten Poem by Paul Day

Hardly Known And Quickly Forgotten

I came across a tree in the wood the other day.
It was old and had long since rotted away.
The trees around it were thriving,
And this one lacked any magnificence.

So hikers paid this tree no mind.
It lived and rotted there,
Hardly known and quickly forgotten.

The seed started growing before any of the hikers were even liven, Many individual lives have passed by it are now forever hidden. Couldn't resist, after seeing this tree wasn't missed.
