Disillusioned by sin’s casuistry
I am not blind to her averment
All around me her prancing vies
And crouching by my doorstep
I hear her melodies in airwaves
Replete with her flirtatious tone
About, fully clothed in duplicity
Waltz up and down main squares
And not too far from my heart
To scathe my mind and my soul
Her whispers subtly but audible
Her intentions I am not abashed
Her subtleties I’m fully apprised
I know her endgame how certain
I cleave to the Lord my desire rise
Glued to the treasure of His love
And the splendor of his presence
My all-surpassing pleasure granted
