All my life I want to sing,
To feel happy and live long,
Stilling life's every sting
For soothing is every song.
I want to sing for any reason,
To move a motion of reality
Hoisting hope up the horizon.
Humanity must meet morality.
I seek to sing as a role-model.
Many a soul seeks inspiration
Whose view I vow to remodel
That it may merit admiration.
I long to sing and live soft;
My passion promises prosperity.
My hopes are happily aloft
Peeping at my pleasant posterity.
I will sing to travel the world
And meet mortals of all shades
Who'll turn my tours whirled;
Each a memory that never fades.
Or I'll just sing for entertainment
To soothe some weary soul.
Just a little alleviating amusement;
Such is simply a gratifying goal.
