Sing Me A Song Poem by Amélie Peace

Sing Me A Song

Sing me a Song...
of limousines and limbo scenes,
limbosines and limo scenes,
and Lima beans and Leeches (the fruit)
levees and livers
and loony bin keepers
and reapers that sing
songs of pretty pink things.

Sing me a Song...
of cakes and corn
corks and cans
and caves and cots
camps and cops
and trees that hop
and hippos who hiccup
all in one spot.

Sing me a Song...
of dippers and dripers
and driers and divers
of diapers and whippers and cartwheel flippers
and psychos
that are starting to scare.

Sing me a Song...
but ever repeat it
my mind is spinning
circles through my eyes
ties and lies
and mince meat pies
it just wont stop, I'm of to bed.
Sleep-tight!
