Singing

the source of it is far away

rooted in clouds that cannot stay

but with a shining overlay

and some had sought at any cost

to find again what song had lost

the silvery eye of the cyclone of Dread

became the peacock eye instead

heavy as lead.

floodtide of the heart!

I hear you again

sifting, dreaming on the wind

pouring balm on the worlds within

bursting the dams of sorrow;

invincible and weeping, Beauty,

into the droughts.
