Single-Minded Poem by james watkin

Single-Minded

Lightning-struck, and visionary
This road for Compulsion
Lone sizzled down, a gold upflinging
Is the one I've been on.

Losing in those routes, duty-bound
To dull sidetracks, reduced
A connectedness, through what, of words
Leaves' whirled dance has induced.
