Sink Poem by Suzanne Hayasaki

Sink

Sink into me
And I think you will see
That things are much simpler
Than they may seem to be.

Let go of the ropes
Of your hopes and fears.
Cast yourself adrift
And let yourself float
On the gulfstream of your dreams.

Believe, and it will carry you to me
In my open boat, star-fishing,
Singing, waiting for you to arrive
On the morning tide
To row me in
To our shore.
