Clouds of darkness are round about me,
Fire burns my enemies,
My smile enlightens the world,
The heavens declare my righteousness,
I'm like a pelican of the wilderness,
My days are like a flower,
So I flourisheth,
Mine heart is smitten,
I shall perish not,
The Lord despise not my prayers,
The sun ariseth and my labor days cease,
I look at mine enemies and they trembleth,
I shall die a death to be praised upon,
My flesh might be filled with fear,
But my inside stands strong,
For my days are endured.
