Sitting Over There Poem by Randy McClave

Sitting Over There

I see her sitting over there
I have seen her somewhere else I swear,
But, where was it at, I wonder about that
At her I did continually stare.

I remember the look of her hair
I know I've seen it before but, where,
You don't forget a color or a style, it's a smile
As I see her sitting over there.

I remember the look of her eyes with care
I thought of her as a temptress in a chair,
Into them I have explored, them I have adored
As I see her sitting over there.

I remember her fragrant scent in the air
I remember that aroma I swear,
It brought back sweet memories, of the seas
As I see her sitting over there.

I still see her sitting over there
At her I still do wonder and uncontrollably glare,
But, now I finally do recall, where her I once saw
She was a plead in my prayer.
