Sixty - Poem by Vera Sidhwa

The Clouds Went By

The clouds went by,
And they were of different hues,
Each reflecting the sun,
At another angle.

It seemed my days went by,
And they were of different moods,
Each reflecting,
What the mind said.

I wonder if all thoughts,
Are like clouds going by.
It seems to me,
They're all different from each other.

The clouds and the thoughts,
Were me all together.
They were all beautiful,
And they were all me.
