Skeletons-Secrets Poem by Tricia Bearden

Skeletons-Secrets

Rating: 4.5

Don't open that door
Your not prepared to see
Lifetime of skeletons-secrets
All hidden within me

A room of horrors
Constant screams and cries
A web of chaos; tortures
Filled with deceit and lies

And though I conceal it well
One glance, you'd never know
The depth of the agony
That's buried down in my soul

Now don't get this confused
Thinking I'm sad or depressed
It only means that I'm unique
Nothing like the rest

I am a dreamer, if you will
Some images not quite suited
I feel passion so deeply
My imagination is extremely vivid

I can get lost in thoughts
Go so far as to actual feel
I have to remind myself
Its only a fantasy, its not real

My feelings, my emotions
I express with such intensity
Consuming, its overwhelming
And some times, pure misery
