Sky Lit Inception Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Sky Lit Inception

Sky Lit Inception

Sky, Open
Share the warmth of the light
Enter this chest
Then guide this heart
Into Angelic dreams
Never felt before
Beyond all limits

Touch this soul
Sky, would you please?
Bring forth a brand new faith
Upon these wondering dreams
Soothing this spirit for something new
In the view of something to hold
Near and dear to this whole reality
Tired of only depending on these daydreams
Realism be a part of me

Searching for the vast unknown
Something beyond these words could ever express
Something where I can truly give all my best
And never worry of sacrificing too much for nothing

Sky, you are the opening
The symbolic key
To a sacred euphoria
Upon something brand new
In the airs of a freshly scented utopias
Ones for which I have never seen of felt before

Oh, That for which above
Nurture me back into your light
Guide this existence
With the knowledge
Of a visionary awe
Enlightening to this spirit's awakening

I want to be something, more
Than I have ever been
Sky, Show me your limitless adventure
Help guide me to a brand new beginning
Grace me with the rapture of your light

Sky, what all do you want from me?
How much must I sacrifice?

What all do you want from me?
