Solace Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Solace

-Waken me solace
Bring on jovial skies
Shine ethereal light
Golden majesty
Beaming love
Through the warmness
Of the light

Tired of the darkness
Cold dreary daze
Coping with each day
Stuck, withering
Seasonal strife
Redundancy of it all
Everyday seems like
An unclear night

Shine, shine
Open the heaven gated skies
So, I can watch the angelic clouds
Shape into a paradise
This mind will form with delight

Prosper, Prosper
Give peace upon this reality
The storm within
Tired of all the madness
On the outside

Sleeping in the cold
Digging so far within
I want to see the light
And the magic
Of all things beautifully woven

Waken me solace
To better days ahead
Shining bright
With the warm winds
Kissing me unconditionally
As I take everything in

I need you
Yearning for your touch
Come forth with love
And my energy
Will be as one with you again

I am ready to let go
Free this soul
Fly these dreams higher
And ground these ambitions
In this trivial life I live

Sunshine, May I be as one with you
My love would be an endless sublime

Hear this heart
It beats for you

Metaphorically and physically
All the way through

May solace shine hope
Brightly lit
Into the vast splendor
Creating limitless heights

Solace, this spirit it belongs to you
