Sky Only Refuge Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

If sky is only refuge for loneliness
No other source can be traced
As it have vast horizons
And nothing to blame or own

Who can stop you from watching endlessly?
No one may utter a word loosely
As it is your choice and domain
Rest may be careless and so remain

Yes no answer can be found
As you go round and round
There is no enough ground
As no arguments may seem sound

I can race towards end
In desperate bid to find a lover or friend
To find clear voice in clouds thunder
If really found in it then it may be a wonder

I can’t dwell at length on this subject
It is not my pointer towards an object
I simply believe it belongs to all
Responds to apathy and distress call

No one hates for any particular reason
It may not be any individual or person
Some qualities in him might have developed cracks
Entire relation has been dazed to ground and at stake

You need not fool around and pose questions
Believe in what has happened in the relation!
They may be sometimes blessing in disguise
As it stand at the tie of giving promises

There are many objects around to take shelter
No one may be found suitable when dreams are shattered
One thing must be purely to be understood that it stands unaltered
Whether love ism deceived, sold, broken or bartered
