Skylight. Poem by Tom Allport

Skylight.

Mayakovsky, sitting at your window
....One afternoon
He keeps his coat on constantly now
Expecting at any moment
"Maud" where are you Maud
Sing softy
She walks across the room
And opens the skylight
"Room" you're toneless now
Sleep now
"Alice" this is your first winter
Moving through you one evening
I found a small Dragon
In the wood shed.
