When the sky gets clouded, spirits drop down
But when it starts raining, an upward surge does happen
Lifting up the entire being, solemnly solemn
Children run about playful, nearly rain sodden
Daring mischievous feats, full of fun and din
When the rainbow emerges, the peacocks dance love-laden
Displaying all the splendour, skyward in supplication
Love intoxicates, prompted by magnificent urges built-in
Solitary songs break out into madrigals in celebration
The entire skies and deeps, sing and dance together in unison
