Slav Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Slav

Slav

Many are synonyms,
To regret, so, forget:
"Everyone is useless! "

What happened has happened,
Past, never will return…

My Native siblings
If we look deep, within,
We made ourselves victims!

"Receive guest, " was custom:
"Feed them well, with respect,
When departing, help them."

This good tool became noose,
In their hands for abusers!

We gave them strings,
Trained them the knitting,
They added knot, made locks,
For our necks, legs, and cuffs.

Bad guests are like foxes,
Turn police and judges!

They set laws and orders,
And kill us as villains!

Greeks did to Brits,
And Romans copied it,
The same was with China,
Everyone in far East
To Mid and Near East,
Babylon to Persia!

The lowest are the Jews,
Explore, read their books,
Not even one was safe,
If not Jewish descent!

Life's circle, as is wave,
Goes around, gets larger,
Each moment, day by day,
And branches away…

Same with words, as is said:
"Are born and progress,
Like Slav giving birth
To slave, esclave…"

I am independent,
No to "No, " no "Yes! "
Sit idle and silent…

Am mourning demise of,
Help and care, and trust,
Killer is modern life.

Did research in Andes,
Studied the Wari.

Their way was republic,
Used wisdom in building,
Both, comfort and loving.

Each person could elect,
With the right to reject.

Suddenly came Incas,
Dictators with own laws,
Used the poor as slaves,
Like Pharaohs, Egyptians!

They claimed ownership,
Became God, and Inti!

Their words and Abraham's
Make the Chiefs Brahman!

Shame on this life-circle!
Mankind is large python!
Whenever men are there
Can picture the serpents!
