Slave Of The Pain Poem by Jose Baez

Slave Of The Pain

Rating: 5.0

I'd like a reason to smile
For a slave of the pain
I have been all my days.

Who am I supposed to blame?
Because nobody could
Be in charge of my pain.

None I can do to overcome
I've been through many things
But I have solved nothing.

Those consolations of love
Including joyfulness
Bliss, peace and happiness.

Yet they have gone from my soul
I don't believe I'll get
Someone who shares my love.

I wish someone could explain
Why I've been my whole life
As a slave of the pain.

Please listen the song on YouTube, thank you.
