Sleep Walking Poem by Antonio Bridges

Sleep Walking

The End of the night was near but in my room it was very cold.
As i go in my bed to get some sleep i close my eyes and felt someone touch me which almost made me froze.
A whisper in my ear saying 'Help Me I'm lost' but no one was there i suppose it was a lost soul.
The voice ask me do i know the meaning of life i said no just have to wait and see it unfold.

I ask the soul is there anything you know that i don't know.
Responded saying yes i can tell you a few things but then i have to go.
What can the universe be best define as he said it simply god brain.
Are you real 'I' ask he said yes but it doesn't mean you should go insane.

The soul said my time is up i must leave.
Thanks for telling me life from 'Your' point of view.
He went on his way that he will lead.
Talking to myself knowing the truth I knew nothing about nor had a single clue.

I woke up later that night and wanted to go outside and start walking.
Wonder why i had a dream of me and a lost soul could i have been sleep talking.
