Sleeping Poem by Julietta Isla

Sleeping

My body is tired and relaxed, but my mind still wonders, can't sleep so well, it hurts to, sore after sleep, so there comes the pills, they make me sleep for eight hours straight, damn aint that a relief, i pop two, my mind starts to hurt like neddles being jabbed through my small head, then i began to feel all funny, the motions and voices become slow, my eyes fight to not close, then i fall into a deep sleep, i can now sleep, but the pills began to not work as much, i have to get something stronger, or force myself, this cause my life more choas, julietta close those eyes, and sleep, dream about your unfound love, curl up in a ball, underneath your big warm blankets, hold your pillow, wishing someone was there, to snuggle up with, relax your mind now honey.
