I kiss you while your sleeping
a silent seal of love
I hold you tight throughout the night
as your all I'm dreaming of
I kiss you while your sleeping
my secret bond of care
and you full know, where ere you go
that you will find me there
I kiss you while your sleeping
and feel safe in your embrace
I know you'd die to stop my cry
and wipe tears from off my face
I kiss you while your sleeping
and guard you from the cold
and I'll be here for many years
to kiss you when we're old
