Slient Coast Poem by Aman Basnet

Slient Coast

Rating: 5.0

Silent coast in endless sea
Wanting to flee Away from this sea, searching thee.
Who? The inner voice of me.
The endless storms made spirit suffer
Waves and tides became huge and rougher Yet with each fall I grew tougher
Then I no longer just wanted to flee from sea
I stood and faced what came to be
The fear within began to fade In silent strength, my mind was made
Then I saw a wave rise high
I chose to face it eye to eye
With new courage of tree
I made a way to become free
I shaped the hope to carry me
Each scar became a guiding key
But blue sea looked endless to me
I searched for thee in distant blue
Yet found no answer, clear or true
No more a slave to restless sea
I did not flee
I came to be
The very strength that carried me
What once I sought in distant spree
Was always resting here in me
For I became the shore the storm could never break.
