Slient Gratitude Poem by Kavitha Krishnamurthy

Slient Gratitude

Rating: 2.0

I may live or I may die soon
But my silent gratitude will never be unknown
Through my verse, I thank one and all
My fellow mates and the names that I recall
My words speak; my heart sings an evergreen song
A dedication, a tribute to those who came all along

For the hands that moved a boulder or two
And wiped my tears when I felt blue
For the soothing warm shoulders always ready for me
Where I had shed tears and made my heart free

For the heartening guidance when I was low
For the constant support when there was a blow
For the care and affection rendered to me
For being there through my grief and glee

I may live or I may die soon
But my silent gratitude will never be unknown
Through my verse, I thank one and all
My fellow mates and the names that I recall
My words speak; my heart sings an evergreen song
A dedication, a tribute to those who came all along
