Slight Pretext Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Slight Pretext

Slight pretext

Lead the way you like
Hate the way you dislike
Approach no one for selfish motive
Remain aloof but be selective

Go out and see
Lovely and tall trees
With laden fruits
And eat

Love the way you act
Realize the fact
You are only one
To be shared with none

Share birds voice
And participate in noise
You will find one language
Try to understand and manage

You are master
So roar into laughter
With slight pretext
And set
