Slippery When Wet Poem by Lawerence Mize, Sr.

Slippery When Wet

I fell in the bathtub
Taking a shower today
Getting old
What can I say
The soap made it slick
I started to slide
Happened so fast
Tub's not very wide
The bathroom started spinning
I was all in a daze
My wife came running
Screamed, 'Are you Okay? '
I lay naked in the tub
Things not going my way
This was the beginning
Of a very bad day
Gotta get a handle
A bar I can hold
Non-stick strips
Go big, go bold
I fell in the bathtub
As I showered today
Getting feeble and old
Not so okay

Absolutely correct pardner! I get it. Of course the side benefit was, you got your wife in the bath tub with you! ! ! :)
