Slipping Away Of Time On A Cloudy Day

Rating: 5.0

Time
It stops not
When it will
I may not feel
The wind to breathe
Only my photograph may lay with a wreathe.

Today is the twenty second day of April
This month too shall pass
Moments slip away but how difficult I try to touch
Those moments which have passed into oblivion.

This day happen to be my buddy's birthday
A long time back we all gathered to wish her all through the day
Those moments when exchanged greeting cards cassettes to play the role of intellectual girls seeking musical delight in Beethoven or Mozart
Although we never understood an iota of the piece
Those days really I smile and wish could stay
But in life we make hay
Now no more I meet my buddy
Only wish her through social media
Her family is there to take care
The rest is enjoy the day while the sunshine
Readers wish you my best and be fine

What a beautiful way to explain the infinite power of time which might turn out into a moment when 'Only my photograph may lay with a wreathe'. The nostalgic scenes are quite emotional. Thanks, Rimni Chakravarty.
