Soul Liberated
detached from reality
she sat there waiting
as the world went rolling along
outside the window
liberated
she lost all sense of time
for even this freedom
could not help her break free
of the one thing
that bounds her to reality
the one part of her soul
that she left behind
hold on tighter, my love
for even as this distance
between us grows
our souls become entwined
as i begin to feel
once again...
