Slogan Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Slogan

Now, repeat after me:
"Down with the anti-peace! "

The farmers plow first;
Then sow seed and cover,
Give it food and water,
Work hard, are devoted
Till the time of harvest.

Most of these peace-lovers
Get along with workers
They share and co-operate.

Hunters act different
Set traps, are shooters
And love the bloodshed.

They kill and separate
Wives from the husbands
And parents-children…

The killed ones are to eat
And the rest turn captive…

Beloved is farmer
And ruthless are killers!

We dislike the killers
Since they are, were against
The peaceful settlement.

So, down with the killers
And makers and dealers
Of the gun, gunpowder
In any form, package.

Now, repeat after me:
"Down with the anti-peace! "

"Down with the arms dealers."
"Long live the peace makers."
