Smear
You glow
tonight
sparkle and
shimmer
a firefly
on heat
Your first
night of
freedom
the moon sky
tastes
candy
sweet/
the stars
twinkle
with
possibility
Hold onto
the glow
while it's
still warm
to light your
whole
heart
there's a dark
tunnel
coming up
Your
first night
ends
broken
a blood
stain on
your shining
dress
