Smiling
I’m sitting here a smile upon my face,
But my mind is dwelling in a darker place.
Everyone passes by, joking with each other,
No one sees that I’m broken, because my pain i cover.
My life is just a black abyss and it’s suffocating me,
My mask is slowly slipping the real me fighting to be free.
My hair hides the tears forming in my eyes,
As i sit and hope to meet my demise.
