Smooth Fog Poem by Matthew Peel

Smooth Fog

Solitary, fog begins to shroud the
Stillness in the night with
Sounds of creeping shadows
Shattering the sweet silence that
Soaks the clouded air who
Swallows shores along oceans
Sailing onto water, feeding on
Ships, plunging them into
Savaged depths, away from the
Shining sun that longs to devour
Souls of determined men
